About Beanify

Beanify is a guide to coffee in the UK. Its first job is to list the companies that make and roast coffee, so you can find the ones near you.

Every company in the UK is on the Companies House register, which publishes a new file each month. Beanify lists two kinds of company from it:

• companies filed under industry code 10832, "production of coffee and coffee substitutes", which is the code for coffee roasting (1,579 companies);
• companies filed under another code whose name says they roast coffee (94 companies).

Only live companies are listed: not dormant ones, and not ones being closed or struck off. The latest file is from 1 October 2026, and the list follows each new file.

• Each company chooses its own industry code, so a few listed here are cafes or tea businesses, and some roasters use other codes and are missing for now.
• The place shown is the company's registered office. That is often its accountant's address, so a company may roast somewhere else, sometimes in another part of the country.
• Beanify hasn't yet read each company's own website, so it can't say what each one sells.
